Stop Cavities Forever
Without a visit to the dentist you
can stop a small cavity from getting larger and repair the damage by
yourself. A few grams of Xylitol each day heals teeth.
Cavities do not just happen.
Acidity + Dry Mouth = Cavities
Cavities occur in acidic and dry mouth environments.
It is possible to measure your own
personal risk for cavities and gum disease. Cavities and gum disease can
be prevented and that the majority of treatments at the dentist can be
avoided.
In a normal and healthy mouth saliva
moistens the teeth and balances mouth acidity. Saliva has a special
texture that lubricates teeth like oil for an engine.
There is a simple, science-based system
that can protect and strengthen your teeth, actually stopping “dental
time”. It is easy for everyone: even those with busy lives, those who
have difficulty flossing and even those with the challenges of dental
care for children, adolescents and special needs patients.
Xylitol helps repair and rebuild any
softened tooth enamel. If you have cavities forming, these problems can
be reversed - and even repaired - by you, at home, with simple cleaning
and strengthening treatments. Even if you have large cavities and
fillings, regular use of the CWT Mouth Care
System and Xylitol will help to stop
things from getting worse.
pH testing is important for your
dental health!
To test the pH balance in your mouth, you will need pH litmus paper,
which comes in strips or on a roll. If you are using a roll, open it,
and remove the plastic container and the foil wrapper.
- Tear off about 1 inch of litmus
paper from the roll.
- Spit some saliva into a spoon.
- Dip the litmus paper into the
saliva.
- Hold the litmus paper up to the pH
color chart to match the color and determine your pH reading.
In the mouth, saliva usually shows
readings between pH 5.5 and pH 8.0.
- When your mouth is at a low pH
(below 7) it is acidic and your teeth may be in danger. Tooth damage
is seen when the reading is close or below pH 5.5.
- When your mouth shows a higher pH
(above 7) it is alkaline and safe for teeth. Teeth remineralize and
repair in saliva with a pH reading between pH 7.4 and pH 7.8.
